Independence Day

Students of fourth grade talk about some of the flags used during the Independence in Mexico, as well as some of Mexican Heroes.
Students learned about Mexican Independence day and the causes and effects it had in our country.
The main objectives during the last week was for students to build Mexican Identity throught investigating what the Mexican Symbols meant and explaining their classmates the meaning of each one, and Introducing students to the curious and amazing Mexican Culture such as festivities, dances and clothing developing their speaking abilities having different debates in the classroom.
Both objectives were achieved and students demonstrated it during the reunion we had las Monday, September 15th.
