El inicio de la celebración de Navidad se hace oficial con la Noche de las Velitas, que se lleva a cabo el 7 de Diciembre, víspera de la fiesta religiosa de la Inmaculada Concepción de María. En esta fecha, las familias se reúnen para encender una gran cantidad de velas o faroles en frente de las casas y, de esta forma, trazar el camino para que la Virgen María bendiga sus hogares.
Durante nueve días, congregados alrededor del pesebre y el árbol de Navidad, los colombianos rezan, cantan villancicos, disfrutan la alegría de las fiestas decembrinas y comparten con los más pequeños el mensaje del nacimiento del Niño Dios.

TRADICIONES Y COSTUMBRES MEXICANAS
DIA DE MUERTOS EN XOCIMILCO

Xochimilco es un poblado al sur de la Ciudad de México, ahí donde las flores cantan y las tradiciones se caracterizan por su expresiva y colorida espiritualidad.
En Xochimilco, desde mediados de octubre existe un vivo movimiento para venerar el recuerdo de los seres queridos. Se respira el olor a pan de muerto recién horneado; el humo del incienso se filtra a través de los huecos del papel picado; y los pétalos de las flores de cempazuchitl dibujan el margen de los sueños y la esperanza, esa que, dicen los abuelos, nunca muere.
En Xochimilco la tradición de la noche de muertos aún vive; los familiares visitan los panteones para esperar la llegada, según la creencia popular, de sus fieles difuntos, adornan las tumbas con flores, velas y globos, comida y bebidas para velar toda la noche.
En los panteones de los pueblos de San Gregorio y Xilotepec, la gente llega desde el 31 de octubre para velar a sus niños, y del 1 de noviembre al 2, esperaran a los amigos, abuelos, padres, hijos, que partieron antes y que esos días rondan por la ciudad de México.

We are illustrating nutrition. We know that nutrition is a group of steps that an organism follows to get food, oxygen and water. This process let us get the nutrients of the food that we eat. Also help us to be healthy and happy. There are four systems involved in nutrition, they are Digestive System, Respiratory System, Circulatory System, and Excretory System.
